PRESS & MEDIA CONTACT
Inspired to start her project through serendipitous performances with such musical giants as Eddie Vedder and Glen Hansard, prolific front woman Moji Abiola brings both virtuosity and vibrancy of a star in her own right.
With the additional talents of David Garcia on drums and Troy Creagh on guitar, MOJI brings an array of arsenal of sounds, fusing hip-hop, rock, soul and jazz and offering listeners depth, range, and power while still harboring a quiet intensity. Tracks feature the reverberation of melodic space slipping into sonic sambas along with soft whispers dynamically climbing into a gale-force howl.
Combining thoughtfully crafted musicality with a commanding presence, MOJI delivers an electric live performance in any venue. Recently, MOJI completed a sonic slew of recordings at the famous Sugarhill Studios with recording engineering wizard Josh Applebee who captured the warmth and vibrancy of the band through their sessions. With an EP release in 2015, MOJI looks to take their music on the road in the new year in support of their musical debut.
